My Story

I have always been drawn to caring, nurturing and healing roles. I graduated from Champlain College in 1997 with an Associates Degree in Social Sciences. I spent over 15 years providing services to families of Vermont and Northern New York while employed at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vermont. After my departure from Ronald McDonald House continued to help people and animals along the way.

Over the last two decades, I have battled autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety and depression. After a hospitalization in 2020, I was left feeling emotionally and physically depleted, and knew I needed to change my path. I woke up from a nap and it was as if my life's "lightbulb" had been switched on... REIKI! I needed reiki not only for myself, but I also felt a strong urge to learn how to help others on their journey to wellness.

I have found reiki to be very beneficial with my own health issues and through practice have been so fortunate to receive amazing feedback from others during their journey to wellness.
